Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the simplification of visa procedures for foreigners and stateless persons coming to the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with the organization and holding of the 2023 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix
Based on paragraph 32 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I make a decision:
- Let it be determined that foreigners and stateless persons who came to the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with the 2023 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix race and presented any of the documents mentioned in part 2 of this Order from April 1 to May 15, 2023 They can get a visa at the international airports of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
- One of the following documents should be considered as the basis for issuing a visa:
2.1. Accreditation card or other document confirming accreditation in accordance with the relevant regulations of the Formula One Management Limited Company and the International Automobile Federation, the international organizers of Formula 1 competitions;
2.2. Accreditation card confirming accreditation at the Baku City Ring Operating Company;
2.3. A ticket to the 2023 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix race, including an electronic ticket or a document confirming the purchase of the ticket.
- Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan:
3.1. Inform the "Formula One Management Limited" Company, the International Automobile Federation and relevant authorities of foreign countries about the simplification of visa procedures for foreigners and stateless persons coming to the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with the 2023 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix race;
3.2. Information about the simplification of visa procedures for foreigners and stateless persons coming to the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with the 2023 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix race, as well as the possibility of obtaining an electronic visa for foreigners and stateless persons through the "ASAN Visa" system, is available from the Ministry, as well as the embassies of the Republic of Azerbaijan in foreign countries and ensure that the consulates are placed in the Internet information resources.
- The State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan should inform the aviation companies operating flights to the Republic of Azerbaijan about the simplification of visa procedures for foreigners and stateless persons coming to the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with the 2023 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix race.
